Terms of Conditions - versie 02 

General

The Colette Vermeulen website and web store are offered to all users only upon acceptance of all Terms of Conditions and policies stated herein and elsewhere throughout this website via hyperlink. By accessing and/or ordering from the Colette Vermeulen website you engage in and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, you may not use and/or access this website. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. 

Webshop confirmation and shipping
When an order has reached us, we send you an email with all order / address information as you entered it. Mistakes and errors are entirely at your risk and expense. If you did not receive this copy, the order has not arrived with us. Usually our packages are shipped once a week. Consequently we need 3-5 business days after the conformation of the order to prepare a shipment. You will receive a track & trace code via email. 

Shipping costs

We ship worldwide. Shipping within the Federal Republic of Germany for of screen prints only in is for free. In the EU the shipping costs of screen prints are € 10 and for countries outside the EU € 15.

Since the dimensions and weight of paper collages, sculptures and other objects vary, shipping costs for these items will be calculated on request. Usually paper collages and screen prints come without a frame, but frames can be delivered on request. Framing might augment shipping costs. Note that any taxes, duties, fees and/or international customs charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Delivery times
After the confirmation of the order, items will be delivered within 3-5 business days within the Federal Republic of Germany, 5-7 business days within the European Union and 7-14 business days for countries outside the European Union.

Priority shipment
If you would like to have the artwork within a specific time please contact Colette Vermeulen for options. A priority surcharge may be applied.

Method of payment
Our payment system is through Mollie, which guarantees a secure online payment via PayPal, iDeal, Bancontact, SOFORT. We also accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and direct bank transfer. Please note that with direct bank transfer, we will prepare shipment once the payment is received.

Packaging

We pack screen prints securely in solid tubes with thoroughly sealed caps. Paper collages, sculptures and other objects are securely packed in layers of bubble wrap and a wooden board in a firm cardboard box.

Frames

Usually paper collages and screen prints come without a frame, but frames can be delivered on request. We could frame paper collages behind synthetic material (acetate) and in frames of whitened wood (see here). The frames of screen prints would of metal (see here).

Note that framing might augment shipping costs.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each work is signed and comes with an official Colette Vermeulen Certificate of Authenticity. 

Returns and cancellations

If you wish to return any non-commissioned items purchased from Colette Vermeulen, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receipt of your order without reason, and 14 days to return the product. You will be credited the full order amount, including shipping. Only the costs for the return of your home to the shop is for your own account. You are responsible for ensuring the item is returned to Colette Vermeulen in its original state and without any damage. Delivery charges are not refunded. Colette Vermeulen will refund the cost of the item in full, however, please note that if you paid for the item using PayPal, PayPal may charge you for return of funds and any charge incurred is not covered by Colette Vermeulen. To exercise this right, please contact us with the order number on mail@colettevermeulen.com. Upon receipt of the work Colette Vermeulen pays you the purchase price within 14 days.

Commissioning an artwork
On receipt of a commission we will provide you with a specification, an approximate time schedule for delivery and a price for the artwork plus delivery. On completion of your custom artwork, you will be sent pictures via email. Adjustments can be made based on the client’s wishes. In order to pay for the artwork, we set up a custom item in our webshop. On receipt of your final payment we will make arrangements for the delivery of your artwork. Please note that the custom artworks must be paid in € (EUR) therefore the price for a commission may change due to fluctuations in exchange rates if you are completing the transaction in another currency.

Prices

All prices in Colette Vermeulen web shop are listed in € (Euro). All prices are subject to change at any time. 

Colors

Please note that we have made every effort to render product information and colors accurately. However, due to the various displays and color capabilities of computer monitors, the color and/or representation might not be exactly the same as the actual item. We cannot be responsible for the color accuracy of your computer monitor. 

Content Ownership

All material, information, and images published on Colette Vermeulen website are the property of Colette Vermeulen and any use of such without the express written permission of an authorized by Colette Vermeulen is expressly and strictly forbidden. Further, there is no warranty that your use of Colette Vermeulen website will be free of errors or uninterrupted.

Liability

You agree that Colette Vermeulen shall be held harmless and shall not be liable for any damage, loss or expense due in full or in part arising out of or resulting from using Colette Vermeulen website or purchasing from Colette Vermeulen web store. In no event shall Colette Vermeulen be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in any way related to Colette Vermeulen website, web store, or the content found within. 

These Terms and Conditions in their entirety, shall be governed by the laws of Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes should be settled at the Regional Court, Berlin. If any questions, comments or praise should arise, please don’t hesitate to contact us at mail@colettevermeulen.com

Privacy Policy
This website does not collect any personal information other than that entered by those purchasing our products. Any information provided to purchase a product is solely used for that purpose and is not disclosed to any third party. Credit card details are only retained as required by the processing company to demonstrate approval for the transaction provided by the clients.
